Micronutrients — Zinc, Boron, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Molybdenum, Chlorine — are essential plant nutrients required in small quantities but critical for growth, yield and quality. Over 50% of Indian agricultural land is deficient in at least one micronutrient, causing yield losses of 10–40% that are often misattributed to drought or pest damage.
50%+ soils deficient. Causes Khaira in rice, white bud in maize, small leaves. Apply Zinc Sulphate 33% or Zinc EDTA 12%.
Critical for pollination, fruit set. Poor boll setting in cotton, hollow stem in cauliflower. Apply Borax or Boron Ethanolamine 10%.

Step 1: Get a soil test to confirm deficiency (KVK, NABL lab, or SoilPro.in AI recommendation).
Step 2: Choose between sulphate forms (economical, for soil application) or chelated forms (faster, for foliar or alkaline soils).
Step 3: Apply foliar spray during cool hours (early morning or late evening). Avoid spraying during flowering.
Step 4: Repeat 2–3 times at 14-day intervals. Symptoms should improve within 10–21 days.
