Boron Deficiency in Strawberry India — Symptoms & Correction

Symptoms

Flower drop, tip dieback, hollow stem, thick distorted leaves.

Sandy soils, dry weather, high calcium. Narrowest sufficiency range.

Boron 20% WSP	Foliar + Drip	1–1.5g/L foliar at flowering
Borax 11%	Soil	0.5–1 kg/acre basal

Confirm with soil test + leaf analysis. Check soil pH.
Apply Boron 20% WSP at 1–1.5g as emergency foliar spray. Repeat after 7–10 days.
Apply drip or soil for lasting correction.
Include in regular nutrition program to prevent recurrence.
