Recommendations:
Cymoxanil 50% wp is a broad spectrum systemic fungicide used for the control of downy mildew disease on grapes. Cymoxanil has a preventive and curative action.
Precautions:
- Use gloves, goggles, face mask and protective clothing, while handling. Avoid working in spray, mist.
Symptoms:
- Temporary central nervous system with dizziness, headache, confusion, incoordination, weight loss, drawsiness, eye irritation with tearing, blurred vision, nose and throat irritation with sneezing, itching, burning redness and swelling or rash.
Antidote:
- No specific anti-dote is known. Treat symptomatically.
First Aid :
- Wash the contaminated skin with soap and water and flush eyes for about 15 minutes. If inhaled, remove from exposure to provide fresh air. If patient is not breathing, start artificial respiration immediately. If swallowed, give 1 to 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting but not when the patient is unconscious. Call for a physician.
